Imaging diagnostics workshop at the Samobor Veterinary Clinic

For the past decade, MedExpert has regularly organised workshops on ultrasound imaging diagnostics in veterinary medicine. This year, our colleague Tomislav Brajko, DVM, MSc, delivered a lecture and workshops on the subject at the Samobor Veterinary Clinic on 17 and 18 May.

Veterinary doctors of different experience levels took part in the training and advanced their ultrasound diagnostics skills, including abdominal ultrasound. Participants also included veterinarians who spend most of their time in other fields that often overlap with ultrasound diagnostics, such as internal veterinary medicine, emergency care and intensive care.

These workshops help participants understand how ultrasound works and explore abdominal examinations by assessing the main abdominal structures. They also support understanding of abdominal ultrasound anatomy and the normal appearance of different abdominal structures, making it easier to recognise pathological conditions and processes in everyday practice.
