Description
The Mindray BC-30 Vet is one of the most advanced and best-selling three-part hematology analyzers designed specifically for veterinary use. This compact, fully automated analyzer delivers fast, accurate, and comprehensive testing of hematological parameters across a wide variety of animal species. Practical and reliable, it is the perfect choice for any veterinary clinic seeking high-quality hematology diagnostics without high operating costs. Its ease of use, exceptional precision, and versatile adaptability make the Mindray BC-30 Vet an indispensable tool in everyday veterinary practice.
features
- 23 hematology parameters, including: WBC – total white blood cell count; RBC, HGB, HCT – basic red blood cell parameters; MCV, MCH, MCHC, RDW-CV, RDW-SD – parameters for evaluating red cell size and variation; PLT, MPV, PDW, PCT, P-LCR, P-LCC – platelet profile; LYM/MON/NEU/EOS – absolute counts (#) and percentages (%) of lymphocytes, monocytes, neutrophils, and eosinophils.
- Histogram display: real-time visualization of histograms for WBC, RBC, and PLT, enabling the recognition of abnormalities such as dual populations, cell fragmentation, and anisocytosis.
- 13 pre-defined species: dog, cat, horse, rat, mouse, rabbit, monkey, pig, cattle, alpaca, camel, sheep, goat – with the option to add up to 20 custom species
- Sample volume:: puna krv whole blood 9 µl; pre-diluted blood 20 µl
- Integrated thermal printer for quick report generation
- Measurement methods:
- Automated leukocyte differentiation (4-part WBC differentiation): unlike 5-part analyzers (e.g., BC-5000 Vet) that use laser flow cytometry, the BC-30 Vet applies computer-assisted algorithms for leukocyte classification based on impedance and histogram data
- Calculation of derived parameters: za certain parameters, such as HCT (hematocrit), MCH, MCHC, RDW, PCT, and PDW, are not measured directly but calculated from measured values using specific formulas within the analyzer
- Impedance method (Coulter Principle): za used for counting red blood cells (RBC), platelets (PLT), and determining cell volume (MCV); based on changes in electrical resistance as cells pass through a narrow aperture
- Cyanide-free photometric method – used for hemoglobin (HGB) measurement, this safer method avoids cyanide while still ensuring high accuracy
